Anna Dziechowski is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist specializing in anxiety and relational trauma. With ten years of experience, she takes a collaborative approach that balances compassionate warmth with honest, direct feedback. Her work focuses on identifying subconscious outdated patterns of behavior and helping clients develop new ways of moving through life’s transitions and challenges.
Anna integrates mindfulness, somatic techniques, and ecotherapy to support awareness of the present moment and strengthen the connection between mind and body through different seasons. As a Latina therapist, she acknowledges the impact of systems and cultural influences. She frequently works with LGBTQ+ clients in exploring identity, relationships, and community.
She is trained in EMDR, a structured and goal oriented somatic therapy that helps people who are feeling stuck develop internal and external resources to process trauma. After the process of EMDR many people describe less automatic negative thoughts, a shift in the tension in their body, and moving towards a sense of resolution. Anna also incorporates Relational Life Therapy in her work with couples, which identifies patterns to foster accountability to cultivate mutual respect within the relational ecosystem.
Grounded in creative arts therapy through music, art, and movement this approach explores metaphor, symbolism, and personal expression to help clients discover perspectives from something larger than just themselves, and reconnect to their value system.
